A new partner at BNP !
Mr. Christian Bolduc, President and CEO of BNP Strategies Philanthropic Management, is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Michel Poulin as Partner Vice-President.
From 2007 to 2011 Michel Poulin worked as Director of the Fondation Cité de la Santé de Laval where he recently completed an ambitious $25 million major fundraising campaign. Futhermore, he led the Fondation du Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke for eight years, a time when the foundation experienced unprecedented growth. These two foundations are amongst the most recognized hospital foundations in Quebec.
He is a life-member of l’Ordre de la Croix des Fusiliers de Sherbrooke, Grand Ambassador of the Fondation du CHUS, Ambassador to the Canadian Donor’s Association and Ambassador to the City of Lac Mégantic. He was awarded the Prix Reconnaissance Jean-Besré from the Fondation du CHUS, a prize awarded each year for exceptional service rendered to the Sherbrooke hospital community. He was a member of the Directors Committee for l’Association de fondations d’établissements de santé du Québec (AFESAQ). He is also an advisory committee member of Fonds Jean-Luc Mongrain of the Fondation du CHUS and was member of the Club Richelieu for 20 years. For the past 2 years, he sits as a Board member of the AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) Quebec Division.
Since the 1980’s he has accumulated many years of experience in management in the insurance sector, financial services, electronic and written media. His public speaking talents are appreciated and sought after by many organizations. Michel is a man with a big heart and a philanthropic spirit who has contributed to the expansion of a number of humanitarian organizations throughout Quebec. Through his work, his innovative and rallying spirit he has substantially influenced the philanthropic milieu in the Eastern Townships, Laval and elsewhere.
His collaboration with BNP Strategies will begin on January 4, 2012.
