Co-founder of BNP in 1999 and President until 2007, Jean Robert has worked in philanthropy since 1983. Throughout his distinguished career, he has devoted himself tirelessly to the advancement of fund-raising, and his countless achievements have earned him enviable recognition and respect as a reference in the field.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 1998, a designation bestowed upon him by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Certified Development Executive since 1996, a qualification awarded him by the Executive Leadership Institute of Indiana University, Jean Robert has enjoyed tenure as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy and the Association of Professionals in Philanthropic Management.

In the capacity of Executive Director of the Montréal YMCA Foundation from 1983 to 1990, Jean Robert implemented and managed an endowment and planned giving program which earned him an award for excellence and which continues to serve as a model for the some 2000 YMCA establishments in North America. Partner, Vice President and Regional Manager (Québec and Atlantic Canada) with Navion for nine years, he decided to set up his own firm in 1999. Jean Robert Nolet & Associates, as the company was originally known, was subsequently changed to Bolduc Nolet Primeau & Associates.

Jean Robert has contributed handsomely to BNP's reputation as a team of highly prized consultants skilled in the organization of winning fund-raising programs. A gifted speaker, Jean Robert’s extensive knowledge is especially appreciated in Québec where he has personally trained the majority of fund-raising executives, as well as in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia where he has left his mark as a result of the transfer of invaluable sector-specific skills and know-how.
