Fund-raising executive (CFRE) accredited by the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 1995, Jean Guy has served as an expert consultant since 1993. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Université du Québec à Montréal and a Fund-raising Management Certificate from Humber College in Toronto.

From 1993 to 2000, Jean Guy worked as a fund-raising consultant for a Canadian firm, acting primarily on behalf of healthcare and academic institutions, as well as Catholic and Anglican dioceses and community organizations. In addition, he spent 15 years with Development and Peace, during which time he also served as a volunteer for international non-governmental organizations like SUCO, where he was Chairman for four years.

Before joining BNP in 2003, Jean Guy was an independent consultant, offering his services to a variety of international cooperation, human rights, health and education organizations. Dedicated to helping build a more human world, he is an ardent defender and advocate of philanthropy.
