Jean Morneau

Philanthropic Management Consultant

Backed by a degree in Administration and a major in Management, Jean Morneau boasts over 30 years of experience with the Government of Québec. He worked for eight years with the Ministry of Justice as an analyst, and then as Director, Material Resources for Palais de Justice du Québec. From 1987 to 2008, Jean worked for the ministère de la Sécurité publique as Public Security Director, Crime Prevention Director, Director of information technology and operations at the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.

Since 2009, Jean has participated in many major fundraising campaigns as a consultant for BNP Strategies.  They include the Centre de prévention du suicide de Québec.  He has also worked as campaign coordinator for the school Marcelle-Mallet and at the Fondation du Père Raymond-Bernier. 

Jean also enjoys experience on over fifteen committees and boards of directors. From 2002 to 2006, he served as President of the Provincial Federation of Speed Canoeing and Kayaking. He has also worked as Vice-President of finances for the Canadian Canoe Association from 2004 to 2006.  In 2001, he won the title Volunteer of the year for the Quebec region.  He brings extensive experience and leadership to BNP Strategies.
